Welcome to Paddy's Brewery Flemington Sydney NSW

Paddy's Brewery, a hidden oasis in Sydney's inner west, was crowned the World Champion Small Brewery for 2004 at The Australian International Beer Awards. A panel of judges tasting more than 850 beers from around the world selected Paddy's Brewery from among a wide range of international competitors

as the best in its class.

Paddy's Brewery is located in the Markets Hotel at Flemington,

next to the famous Paddy's Markets since 2001 and has developed a superior range of individually naturally brewed boutique beers.

Paddy's range of classic natural beers include the Paddy's Pilsner, Unleaded, Wheat Beer, Indian Pale Ale, Paddy's Lager, Paddy's

Pale Ale and the extremely popular Chocolate Porter. Paddy's Brewery Pilsner was the only Australian made Draught Lager

to pick up a gold medal at the 2009 AIBA.

In 2003 Chocolate Porter was awarded best in its class and our Wheat Beer won the Gold Medal in 2002 beating one of the oldest breweries in Germany for this title. Paddy's secret to its success has been its quality and consistency in

brewing its own range of premium beers. Gerard Meares is back at Paddy's Brewery as our Head Brewer after a three year absence. Gerard brings to Paddy's Brewery many years of experience in the brewing industry.

All Paddy's beers are brewed in the "In House" brewery using the highest

quality natural ingredients, along with the traditional batch brewing process,

which has been proven over time.

By combining world renowned malted barley, selected premium grown hops, "pure" Sydney filtered water and fermented with its own strains of yeast, Paddy's Brewery created its own range of fine natural beers. The beers are all malt beers and are guaranteed not to contain added sugar, artificial coloring, antioxidants or preservatives; this makes them an attractive alternative for the weight and health conscious person.

Introducing The Ginja Ninja - 4.8% Alc/Vol

Our Summer seasonal for 2010 is a good old fashioned Ginger Beer.

IPA - Indian Pale Ale - 4.8% alc/vol

Robust malt characteristics are needed to balance this highly hopped ale,

with earthy floral aromas of the UK grown Fuggles Hops.

Paddy's Pale Ale - 4.6% alc/vol

Paddy's Pale Ale is all about big zesty cascade hop flavours,

full malt characteristics with a crisp finish on the palate.

Unleaded - 2.9% alc/vol

Light on alcohol, but still big on flavour. This is a real beer drinkers light beer.

Chocolate Porter - 4.8% alc/vol

Rich dark chocolate flavours set this award winning Porter apart from other dark ales.

Paddy's Pilsner - 4.8% alc/vol

Locally grown Pilsner malts along with 3 additions of Czech grown Saaz hops, create a bouquet of malt and floral, spicy hop aromas, low fermentation temperatures and an

extended lagering period result in a true Bohemian style Pilsner.

The IPA is back & slight change to the grain bill seems to have worked nicely. The

Unleaded is back by popular demand, this time around it is fermented on a German Lager yeast, probably my favourite beer to drink during the brew day. Our Summer seasonal for 2010 is The Ginja Ninja, 4.8% Alc/Vol Ginger Beer. We look forward to seeing you here.
